Carl Ray Landscape Nursery is a 96 year old landscaping business and commercial nursery that  performs landscape design, installation and maintenance.  Our clients range from residential homeowners choosing a new style for specialty gardens to large clients like The Nature Conservancy and Papa Johns' Corporate Headquarters to local and regional landmarks like Valhalla Golf Club, Buffalo Trace Distillery, Yew Dell Gardens, and Shadwell Horse Farm.

Our specialty is the transplanting and installation of trees in the prime of their life, frequently moving specimens with trunks up to 10" in diameter, as well as those smaller and younger.  For specialty work we routinely move trees up to 20" in diameter, 35,000 pounds and 50 feet tall, to satisfy the needs of the clients and their designs.

The trees and plants we install can come from around the country but our competitive advantage is our Finchville, KY farm where we grow and maintain our own nursery stock to be ready for ay project.
